Committee
BalBUG is an unincorporated group of enthusiasts who are keen to see the conditions for cycling in Ballarat and district improved, and for cycling to be an even more enjoyable activity than we already know it to be. If we can improve facilities we can get more people cycling more often (-to borrow a phrase from Bicycle Victoria). Ballarat's topography and distances for commuter cycling and its proximity to some interesting touring mean that with a little effort on all our parts, we can really achieve quite a lot.
Your BalBUG Committee is:
John Barnes (Chair)
Rudy Novotny
Denis Faulkner
Pat (PK) Hope
Rick Winnell
Chris Willey

VALE VINCE MARONEY Cycling stalwart, BalBUG inaugural Committee member and all-round nice guy Vince Maroney died after a short illness on 17 December 2007. There are many of us who owe him a debt of gratitude for getting us excited about cycling and about improving the conditions for cycling.
